The challenge

Many associate remote client access and site-to-site IPsec with complex configuration, connection problems and bulky 3rd-party client applications.

The solution

Sometimes it's desirable to create a "virtual cable" between two sites; so called layer-2 VPN. Instead of subscribing to expensive services sold by service providers, our security routers makes it possible to create Ethernet-over-IP tunnels, providing the same service to a lower cost and with greater flexibility.

We believe that remote client access should be designed around open, standardized protocols that's supported in all platforms; should it be a computer or a smartphone. In other words, PPTP and L2TP (IPsec). We even support Windows 7's built-in IPsec (IKEv2, also called MOBIKE). All these have the advantage of small overhead thanks to ESP/GRE encapsulation, while also avoiding the TCP-over-TCP problems that SSLVPN solutions suffer from.

Our IPsec is very simple to configure, and extremely compatible as it, if necessary, provides all possible IPsec configuration options. In cases where packet loss due to re-negotiations and interruptions, ultra-reliable manual key tunnels are also available.
