Acquire Software Update and Options License

All products based on H/OS Extreme can be upgraded with new options, features, etc. by installing a new license. License keys can be obtained from your local reseller.

Installing a new License

When you have bought a new system upgrade license key, you activate the license (in our online system below), pairing it with one of your security gateway units.

Then go to the Management -> Updates & Licenses section of the unit's HTTP administration, and press "Check" on the "System License". The text "New Software License Available" will show in red, followed by an "Install" button. Press it to install the new license, and reboot the unit.
